Schools in Anambra State have continued to receive exercise books donated by the President’s wife Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo, respectively.
The schools were filled with excitement, as the Commissioner for Education, Anambra State, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh led a delegation from Anambra Education family to distribute the books to school pupils in the area.
Delivering the messages from the wives of the President and Governor, Commissioner for Education Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh said the exercise books were distributed free of charge in support of Soludo’s free education programme.
She said Anambra children remain very dear to the heart of the Governor.
“The message from the President’s wife, “renewed hope” and that of Anambra State Governor’s wife “healthy living with Nonye Soludo” have merged to support Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s free education program for the children of Anambra State
“Today, we embarked on a visit to schools in Awka South Local Government Area and distributed the exercise books.
The schools visited were St Thomas Aquinas, Grand Hermano Schools and Day Star International School, all in Awka.
