Anambra State Government has vowed to fish out killers of three siblings in Nnewichi, Nnewi, Anambra State.
Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo gave the assurance during a visit to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi where the bodies of the deceased were deposited.
She said the perpetrators would be dealt with in accordance with the stipulations of the law, while pledging government’s resolve to give hope and succor to the bereaved parents.
“The Soludo-led administration will not relent until the perpetrators are fished out and dealt with according to the stipulations of the law,” she stated.
The three siblings were allegedly murdered and stored in a deep freezer in their residence.
The incident which happened over the weekend went viral on social media after the parents of the deceased children, Mr Udochukwu and Mrs Chikazor Ejezie came back from their respective day’s endeavors and met the door leading to the house wide opened, an unusual occurrence since the children always locked the doors whenever they went out to play.
The parents were said to have found the
dead bodies of their kids inside the deep freezer after thorough search for the kids without success.
