A Pentecostal church in Anambra State, Bible Base Miracle Assembly, Nkpor-Agu, has held special prayer service for Governor Charles Soludo and Anambra State in general to win the current war against insecurity and evil alters prevalent in the state.
The prayer service, presided over by the Senior Pastor of the church, Rev. (Dr.) Jerry Nwachukwu, was held at the headquarters of the church at No 16 Ezendu Street, off Mercedes Avenue, Nkpor-Agu, on Sunday, February 16.
Speaking during the prayer service, Rev Nwachukwu said that last year or two, when kidnapping and other violent crimes were rising gradually in Anambra, with cases of Okite rituals and other get-rich-quick syndrome becoming predominant, the church, led by the Holy Spirit, went into fervent prayers for God’s intervention.

“Today, what is happening to kidnappers, fake native doctors and pastors, as well as ritualists are answers to those prayers.
“We’re grateful to Governor Charles Soludo and the state assembly for coming up with Homeland Security Law, as well as the steps the state government is taking to address insecurity, evil rituals and evil altars.
“Presently, God is using Operation Udo Ga-Achi, which is an offshoot of the Homeland Security Law, to sanitize the state and to reduce social vices,” he said.

The cleric urged that any fake native doctor or fake pastor, whose mode of practice goes contrary to the enabling law should be invited for questioning, and if found wanting, should be made to face the wrath of the law.
He added, “Today, our church holds special prayer service for Anambra State, and for Governor Charles Soludo and his cabinet, as well as the state assembly that they may be courageous to confront the present tempest and resistance posed against the war on kidnapping and Okite practitioners.

“We’re praying that every evil agenda of people spoiling the good plans of the present government in Anambra state will be exposed. We come against every evil altar raised by any evil native doctor, fake pastor or Ezenwanyi against Governor Soludo and Anambra State – be it in the air, marine, forrest, roads or sky.
“We reverse whatever Satan and Lucifer Ada-Umudioka and similar evil altars are raining upon our governor and his government, just because they’re making efforts to make the state liveable. Whatever evil they have invoked against the governor and Anambra State shall not stand, and shall not come to pass. The Satan they’re calling upon shall not answer them.
“Every arrow or pit formed against Soludo and well-meaning people of Anambra State because of the current war against kidnapping and Okite are hereby reversed, and returned to the senders.

“We stop the operation of every evil altar, Okite, Ezenwanyi and Ezenwoke, evil idols and shrines in the 21 local government areas of the state. Every strong man or woman contributing to the current state of insecurity in Anambra, and are part of problems ruining our young people in this state, we curse you; we curse your alter; we curse your idols, we curse your shrines in the name of the Father, in the name of the Son, and in the name of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
“We invite the Lord Jesus Christ to take over Anambra State, and uphold Governor Charles Soludo and his cabinet as they continue the good works they’re doing, Amen.”
The Senior Pastor charged residents of Anambra State and beyond to turn to Christ, and leave all evil ways. He cited John 14:6, where the scripture says ‘I am the way, the truth and life; no-one comes to the father except through me.’
Rev. Nwachukwu also noted that patronizing evil alters and mediums are kind of seeking greener pastures in very dangerous ways.
Recounting how so many kidnappers and Okite practitioners acquire wealth and die shamelessly in very young age, the pastor admonished people to turn to God for all their needs, saying that it is only the blessing of God that makes rich and adds no sorrow.
He also urged parents to question the sources of their children’s wealth, especially if they are not genuinely acquired; adding that parents should conscientise their children to understand that wealth and success do not come the easy way, but through hard work and perseverance.
“Nobody has ever succeeded or sustained success made through clever and evil ways,” Nwachukwu concluded.
