The directive by Anambra State Government to communities not to collect money from tenants for their documentation has not changed and is still in force, Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor has said.

The commissioner who stated this in a statement urged Presidents-General of the 179 communities in the State to take note and ensure strict compliance to avoid consequences.

He commended cooperation from people of the state, especially regarding the new security arrangement in place to ensure maximum security for the state, urging them to shun blackmail and misinformation peddled by some disgruntled elements against the security measures.
