Chief Ben Chuks Nwosu, Director General (DG) of John Chuma Nwosu Campaign Organisation has refuted the rumour making rounds that Labour Party governorship hopeful has withdrawn from the November 8, Anambra State governorship election.

Nwosu described the rumour as a lie of enormous proportion, insisting that his principal is set for the 5 April, 2025 party primary.

He said, “The scurrilous rumour making the rounds that John C. Nwosu, the leading Labour Party aspirant has stepped down for Chief George Moghalu, another LP aspirant is not true. The rumour is a lie of enormous proportion.

“The Labour Party delegates will decide who will be the party candidate. Party nomination cannot be won through lies, subterfuge and mischievous fake news.
We urge party faithfuls to disregard such distractive misinformation.”
