The Ikemba Front, a flagship political support structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State has sent congratulatory message to the State chairman of the party, Sir Basil Ejidike on his appointment by President Bola Tinubu as the Chairman Governing Board, National Root Crops Research Institute, Umudike.
The group which spoke through its National Coordinator, Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu described the appointment as well deserved.
It said the appointment could not have come at a better time than now that the party in the State was gasping in the euphoria of the party’s successful primary election that produced Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu as its governorship candidate for the November 8, 2925 election.
“It is an appointment that is well deserved, Sir Basil Ejidike has through dint of hard work and commitment to the party and Anambra State found the right rhythm to national stardom.
“His appointment is a morale booster for the APC family in Anambra State, a family that had looked in bewilderment as appointments hitherto meant for its hard working members were cornered to members of the ruling party in Anambra State.” Sir Awogu said.
Ikemba Front thanked President Tinubu for the appointment which he has used to boost and rekindle the confidence level of the members of the party in Anambra State, saying the party was happy that Mr. President has started to recognize APC members in the State for appointments.
He assured Mr. President of the party’s unflinching support.
