The former presidential aspirant, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu has received a distinguish award from Nnewi People in London, UK.
He received the award alongside some other distinguished sons and daughters of Nnewi.
Reacting, Prof Kingsley Moghalu, who is known for his outspokenness noted that it is always great to reconnect with the people of Nnewi, his hometown.
The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu stated on his verified Twitter page on Sunday; “As a titled traditional chief (Ifekaego Nnewi) of the 600 years -old Nnewi Kingdom in Nigeria, it was an honor and great pleasure to have served last night (Saturday) as Chairman of the Nzuko Ora Nnewi (the people’s gathering) event in London, UK, where I and some other distinguished sons and daughters of Nnewi were honored with awards.”
The former presidential aspirant stated further; “It’s always great to reconnect with Ndi Nnewi. Much for my hometown!”
