Kojo Motors Limited, one of Nigeria’s automobile distributors, is set to exhibit its lineup of Yutong luxury buses at the forthcoming Abuja International Motor Fair, to be held from November 18 to 21 at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The National Sales Manager, Kojo Motors, Chino Ogwumike, told journalists in Lagos on Wednesday that the company would showcase three flagship models that can run on diesel, compressed natural gas or a combination of both.

The models include Yutong 12-meter, 10-meter and 7-meter luxury buses, representing the brand’s strong presence in the passenger transport, tourism and corporate shuttle segments.

Ogwumike stated that the company’s participation underscored its commitment to providing Nigerians with world-class mobility solutions that combine comfort, safety and durability.

“We are excited to bring Yutong’s latest generation of luxury and city buses to the Abuja International Motor Fair.

Each of these models is built to meet the diverse transportation needs of Nigerian operators, ranging from intercity travel to executive staff and school shuttles, while delivering exceptional fuel economy, advanced safety technology and outstanding passenger comfort.

“Our focus is to continue to provide value-driven products supported by strong after-sales service, genuine parts supply and nationwide technical support. This exhibition gives us another opportunity to interact with fleet operators, government agencies and transport entrepreneurs seeking trusted solutions,” he said.

The 12-meter Yutong luxury bus, a flagship in the lineup and the preferred choice of many transporters on local and international routes, is designed for long-distance travel and premium transport services.

It features a spacious cabin, ergonomic seating for over 50 passengers, onboard entertainment systems and air conditioning optimised for tropical climates.

The 10-meter city bus is for mass transit movement within the city, while the 7-meter luxury model is tailored for medium and short intracity mass movement operations ideal for school shuttles, ministries, departments and agencies for their staff, offering flexible seating arrangements, modern interiors and high-performance diesel engines that ensure reliability on Nigeria’s road networks.

The collaboration also aligns with the Federal Government’s renewed emphasis on local assembly and sustainable transport development.

Recently, the Nigerian Senate Committee on Industry, led by its Chairman, Sen. Francis Fadahunsi, and the Director-General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Joseph Osanipin, visited the multi-billion-naira Kojo auto assembly plant project and auto gas facility located at Umunya, Anambra state.

Kojo Motors’ exhibition stand is expected to attract significant attention from transport industry stakeholders, policymakers, and prospective buyers eager to experience the sophistication and engineering excellence that define the Yutong brand.
