VFD Group GMD , Mr Nonso Okpala has supported his former boss, Tony Elumelu in gifting a young homeless boy N1million following a stunning impromptu performance at an Heirs Insurance event in Lagos.

The event, which had top personalities like business mogul Tony Elumelu and VFD Group GMD Nonso Okpala in attendance, featured a fun segment where the MC randomly invited members of the audience to sing or dance using the Heirs Insurance name.

One young man, who shared his story, describing himself as homeless and struggling, stepped onto the stage and delivered a powerful performance that left the entire hall stunned. His voice, confidence, and stage presence reportedly lit up the room.

Moved by the young man’s talent and story, Tony Elumelu walked up to him and gifted him N1 million on the spot. Moments later, Nonso Okpala also gifted him another N1 million, while several other guests joined in, showering him with cash gifts.

The inspiring twist, however, came from the boy’s background: he has been homeless, jobless, and struggling despite being educated. He revealed that he only came to the event in hopes of getting free food, not knowing fate had something bigger in store.
