In line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s Vision 2070 of ensuring that every part of Anambra State has a belt road, construction work on the dualisation of the Magazine Junction–33–Y Junction, Nkwele Ezunaka, road is set to commence in the near future.
The Anambra State Commissioner for Works, Engineer Ifeanyi Okoma, made this known while speaking with ABS correspondent, Ngozi Obileri, in his office in Awka.
According to Engineer Okoma, the road will start from Magazine Junction and terminate at Y Junction, Nkwele Ezunaka, and is expected to be completed within eighteen months.
Engineer Okoma noted that the project is a seven-point-five-kilometre dual carriageway with one bridge.
He urged residents of the area to cooperate with the construction company to enable them complete the road within the stipulated period.
