All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Anambra State, Senator Emma Anosike, has said that the party does not collaborate with Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo or his APGA party.
The APC, he said, is completely focused on its political efforts in the state and doesn’t collaborate in any way with the ruling party in Anambra.
Responding to a question on Governor Soludo’s assertions that the APGA and APC in the state should have a friendly and cooperative relationship, Anosike rejected the notion.
From the perspective of the Anambra APC leadership, he made it quite apparent that the two parties do not collaborate and instead pursue their respective political agendas.
In a press briefing, Anosike confirmed that the APC in Anambra State is ready for the next election and would do all it takes to win.
He asserts that the party will participate in whatever lawful political activity that increases its likelihood of capturing the state.
Even at the highest levels of leadership, the APC organization is constant and cohesive, according to Anosike.
He went on to say that the party operates as one unified political organization, with no divisions between the national headquarters in Abuja and the state capital in Anambra.
According to him, the APC in Anambra is not operating independently or in opposition to the larger party structure; rather, it is fully aligned with the party’s national leadership.
As the party gears up for electoral fights and political engagements inside the state, he emphasised once again that its unity is a vital asset.
He claims that the APC’s current priorities include rallying support and establishing a strong position in the run-up to the election.
He emphasised that the party’s unity and the members’ shared commitment to winning the election are the driving forces behind all party activities.
He said, “So, I am telling everybody that we are out to contest this election. Everything that it will take us to win this election, we are going to do it. APC is APC in Abuja. APC is APC in Anambra. APC is one. And there is no division in APC. And there is no division in APC. APC is one. And there is no division in APC.”
