The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), has officially and constitutional issues certificate of return to 44 winners of the party primaries tickets ahead of the 2027 general election in Anambra State.
The presentation took place at the Party’s Regional Headquarters in Awka on Friday, June 19th, 2026, where the APGA National Publicity Secretary, Mazi Ejimofor Opara, handed over the certificate to the successful candidates in the presence of party supporters.
Addressing Journalists shortly after the presentation, Opara said the certificates represents the voices of millions of APGA supporters across the state.
According to him, the candidate’s emergence as the party’s flag bearer demonstrated overwhelming support within the APGA and expressed confidence in victory at the 2027 polls.
“The 44 candidates comprises, 3 Senatorial candidates, 11 House of Representative candidates and 30 State House of Assembly candidates respectively.
“So far so good with this successful presentation, I can tell you that APGA is on curse and we have far beat the dateline for 2027 electoral guidelines set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and I am very sure that APGA would be the first party to summit names of it candidates to the Commission, signifying that APGA under the National leadership of governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo is united and fully prepared ahead of the 2027 general election, Opara concluded.
In their separate acceptance speeches, the candidates thanked the party leadership and members for the confidence reposed on them.
They promised to deliver their various districts and constituencies for the party come 2027.
The event was also attended by APGA supporters across the 21 local government area of the State.
