The Spiritual Head of Soul Revival Outreach, Nnewi, in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu has made several spiritual and political predictions concerning Nigeria’s future and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking with reporters at his church office, Uzukwu predicted that the 2027 general election would not simply be a contest between the APC and opposition parties but would involve internal divisions within the ruling party.

Nnewi: “This is exactly what the law forbids”

He warned against spirit of death currently lurking around in Aso Rock Villa, which he said would ultimately bring relief to the citizenry.

“By 2027, the APC will be divided against itself. Those who think they are politically powerful will realise that there is a God in heaven who is greater than every earthly authority.

“In the end, Nigeria and Nigerians will heave a sigh of relief, because there is spirit of death lurking around in Aso Rock Villa at the moment,” he said.

The fiery Prophet further chided the President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying he has not done enough to deserve a second term in office.

He alleged that the current government has been characterised by poor electricity supply, insecurity and inadequate infrastructure.

According to him, many companies and industries had shut down under Tinubu’s watch which he regretted had resulted to increased unemployment, particularly among the youths.

He said, “I find it surprising that the President is seeking re-election despite the country’s worsening socio-economic conditions.

“One way to know a man who truly fears God is by how he handles power without becoming intoxicated by it. Unfortunately, many African leaders end their reign in disgrace and shame.”

The cleric urged political leaders to remember that public office is temporary and that no individual is greater than God.

“Nothing lasts forever. Every office has an end. No matter how powerful political office holders think they are, they cannot be stronger than Almighty God.

“President Tinubu cannot be more powerful than African leaders such as Samuel Doe, Idi Amin and Mobutu Sese Seko. They wielded enormous power and wealth in their time, yet they all eventually passed away,” he said.

Uzukwu said African nations would fare better if leaders followed the example of Nelson Mandela, whom he described as choosing to leave office voluntarily despite having the opportunity to remain in power.

He further alleged that many Nigerian leaders publicly profess religious faith but fail to demonstrate integrity and accountability in governance.

“Funds meant for millions of Nigerians are allegedly diverted by a few individuals in positions of authority. Because of corruption, many citizens cannot afford healthcare or even basic meals,” he added.
