Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has approved the appointment of four professionals to head key state parastatals as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across strategic sectors.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, were announced in a statement issued on Monday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.
According to the statement, Dr. Nelson Omenugha has been appointed Special Adviser on Youth Reformation, while Dr. Chizoba Prisca Ezeasor will serve as the Executive Secretary of the Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ASPHCDA).
Also appointed is Hon. Chike Anyaonu as the Managing Director of the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, while Mr. Chris Osemedua Molokwu has been named the Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS).
Governor Soludo urged the newly appointed officials to deploy their wealth of experience and expertise in advancing the state’s development agenda. He charged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, accountability, and integrity in the discharge of their responsibilities.
The governor expressed confidence that the appointments would further strengthen the administration’s commitment to efficient governance and improved service delivery for the people of Anambra State.
