She emphasised the need for individuals and communities to stand with people facing vulnerability, crisis and other challenges.

According to her, humanitarianism is a reminder that every life mattered and that shared humanity required people to care for, support and uplift those in need.

She said, “Humanitarian efforts should include protecting vulnerable children, supporting women and girls.

“It should also address malnutrition, promote access to healthcare and create opportunities for people to live with dignity.

“Every act of kindness can make a meaningful and lasting difference.”

The governor’s wife noted that humanitarian action was not limited to responding to emergencies but also involved building communities where no one was left behind.

She urged Nigerians to look beyond themselves, extend compassion to people around them and become sources of hope in their various communities.

“Always shine your light for the world to see. Show a little kindness,” she added.
