National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra state has commended the enthusiasm of youths corps members in the service of their fatherland.
State Coordinator Pauline Ojisua made the commendation on Saturday at the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 Inter-Platoon Cultural Carnival heldA at the Nnamdi Azikiwe NYSC Unity Permanent Orientation Camp in Umuwulu/Mbaukwu.
She described such zeal as true reflection of the NYSC spirit as well as prove that Nigerian youth are not only capable of selfless service but also proud custodians of nation’s rich cultural heritage.
She said, “Nigeria’s culture is beautiful! With over 250 ethnic groups, our nation is a rich diversity woven with different languages, dances, attires, and traditions.
“Today’s carnival is a vivid demonstration that our differences are not weaknesses, but our greatest assets. When we come together to share our heritage, we build a stronger, more united Nigeria.
“We are not just here to watch a show; we are here to celebrate the vibrant heartbeat of our great nation.
“I specifically commend all Corps Members; I appreciate the long hours of rehearsal, the creativity, and the sheer dedication you have poured into preparing for today.
“The enthusiasm you have shown is a true reflection of the NYSC spirit. You are proving that the youth of Nigeria are not only capable of selfless service but are also proud custodians of our rich cultural heritage.
“As the music plays and the dancers take the stage, let us embrace the spirit of unity. Let every performance remind us that no matter where we come from, we are all Nigerians with a shared destiny.”
Ojisua also appreciated Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his continuous support and commitment to the success of the scheme in the state, just as she thanked the traditional rulers for their presence and fatherly guidance.
