The Anambra State ICT Agency has launched a new and smart platform for the service of the Government and people of Anambra State. The platform, which has been expanded to coordinate government activities, with an interface for feedback from the populace, is also built with the capability to offer seamless government services such as government payments. Consequently, it offers a flawless digital experience, having been designed to match new demands which the previous platform could not meet. This platform was launched yesterday, October 1st, by the Anambra State ICT Agency.
Describing the new platform, the Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA), said that the new platform was designed with the people at the centre. “The New Anambra State Government platform, launched on October 1, 2026, gives citizens, businesses, and investors one trusted starting point for engaging with the government. It is organized around people’s needs, helps users find services, understand requirements, locate the offices responsible for their demands, and reach the appropriate government MDA,” Mr. Agbata assured.
The platform is also designed to improve access to information and offers a feedback mechanism for members of the public to raise specific governance concerns. Speaking on this feature, Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata said the features are crucial to keep information current, listen to citizens, and “help people find answers, engage with their government and understand how their state works.”
The new www.anambrastate.gov.ng gives users access to the state budget, audit reports, state laws, procurement procedures, and other public information, in line with Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s Agenda on governance reforms, accountability, and transparency in public service.
