They are businesses which origin are traceable to Anambra and have expanded with outlets in several States of the country. Even though they are not as big as the Dangote group, they have carved niche in the sector they represent and have agrressive expansion plan from their base in Anambra to more States in the country. They have become so visible that you cannot ignore them.

Apams ltd: Nigeria’s foremost funeral undertaking business. Apams is almost in every state in South- East and South-South Nigeria and recently moved its operations to Abuja. Even though not in Lagos yet,it provides services to most people in the mega city and intends to open a centre there to oversee south-west operations. Pax Pharmacy: provides exceptional healthcare Solutions and other services. It’s the no 1 dispensary in Anambra known for its quality products. The brand recently launched an agrressive expansion and has moved to places like Asaba, Abuja etc.

Five star foods and restaurant: is an exceptional restaurant which had a modest beginning in onitsha. The brand stands for excellence in their business niche and has expanded operations in Awka, Asaba with plans to move into places like Owerri and Enugu soonest before hitting other major cities of the country.
