The 2023 Frontline Senatorial Candidate of the Young progressives Patty (YPP) for Anambra Central Senatorial District, High Chief Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi (Agunaechemba nke mbu na Abagana) chaired the Unizik 2022 OHAZULUME CONFERENCE held at the School ASUU Secretariat building in Awka , ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.
The 2022 Ohazulume Conference with the Theme:
NDIGBO AND NIGERIA’S FUTURE: 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS IN PERSPECTIVE
was organized by the Directorate of Igbo Village and Centre for African Civilization, (IVACAC), Nnandi Azitiwe University, Awka.
In his speech, Dr Umeadi expressed his unreserved applause for the organizers of the event for featuring a well organized event that brought great sons and daughters of Igbo land at the event. According to him, there is the need for togetherness and unity in everything we do as Ndi Igbo, with politics inclusive, as that will birth the all desired effects and guarantee the expected results as they concern Ndigbo in general as the name “OHAZULUME” entails. He further emphasized on the need for Ndigbo to come together with one voice and vote for individuals who will represent them and fight for the interest of Ndigbo, at large.
His speech drew wide spread commendations and unanimous ovations from the teaming audience. The event had other prominent dignitaries such as Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Jerome Okonkwo, the former DVC, IMSU, Owerri, Rev. Fr. Prof. Bonachristus Umeogu, Director, IVACAC, HRM, Igwe, Sir Obumneme Ralph Ekpe, Eze Enugwu Ukwu na Igwe Umunri, Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, among others in attendance.
