The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) senatorial candidate for Anambra Central District, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, has pledged unalloyed support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.

Going back memory lane, he explained it was Peter Obi with the late Prof. Dora Akunyili, former director-general of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), who prevailed on him to join the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) years after he ventured into politics.

He added that the LP presidential candidate had demonstrated commitment and possessed the needed qualities to pilot the affairs of the nation.

The APGA senatorial candidate, who is representing Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, said he would work for the success of Mr. Obi’s presidential bid.

Speaking during a Youth Empowerment Programme at St Matthew’s Catholic Church, Amawbia near Awka, he described his agenda for his constituents as a pathway to a new senatorial district.
Hon. Nwankwo who donated 27 sewing machines to support the youth empowerment scheme, promised to consolidate on effective representation, if voted into office.
