Soludo Inspects Gully Erosion Control Work In Ebenator, Nnewi South, Declares APGA Is Synonymous With Ndi Igbo

Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo earlier today inspected the Gully Erosion Control works embarked upon by his administration in Amannalu junction erosion site, Ebenator, Nnewi South Local Council.

The project is being handled by Benejaf International Limited, while Maintech Engineering Consult is the consultant.

Speaking shortly after inspecting progress of work done so far on the project, Governor Soludo expressed satisfaction with the level of work.

The Governor explained that the drainage will be channeled to a river which will end up making the erosion a thing of the past.

He empathized with the people in line with the APGA’S mantra of “be your brothers’ keeper”.

An”The contractor estimates that the road will be passable in two weeks and assured that the project would be completed in August.

“The APGA Candidate for Nnewi Constituency 2 was a Former TC Chairman of Nnewi South and I can remember that during my Governorship campaign, he told me about how this road was cut off by erosion,” Soludo explained.

He pleaded with the people to vote for both APGA candidates in Nnewi Constituency 1 and 2 so that he could have people with whom he could easily relate and work with for the best interest of the people.

Earlier, the Transition Committee Chairman for Nnewi South, Hon. Ikenna Aniagboso, declared that it is a new dawn in the town, praised the Governor and expressed confidence that under Governor Soludo’s leadership, Anambra would be livable and prosperous.

On his part, the Commissioner for Environment, Engr. Felix Odimegwu, extolled the Governor for wiping his tears because the project is close to his home and people have mocked him for it, saying that ndị Ebenator, Osumenyi and Ezinifite are proud and will never forget him.

Also speaking, Hon. Engr. Chieloka Henry Okoye canvassed for the people’s vote so that he could assist the Governor in the many projects he is working on.

The Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, Chief of Protocol to the Governor, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, APGA Candidate Nnewi South Constituency 1, Hon. Sonny Fredick Ozobialu, APGA Nnewi South Party & Ward Executives, Traditional Rulers among others attended the event.
