Obi, Soludo meet at Bishop Isizoh’s enthronement as Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Aguleri

The Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, Most Reverend Denis Isizoh has been enthroned as the first Bishop of the newly elected Catholic Diocese of Aguleri, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports. The event took place at St Joseph’s Cathedral, Aguleri,

The new Catholic Diocese is made up of four local government areas namely, Anambra West, Anambra East, Oyi and Ayamelum.

Governor of Anambra State, Prof. C. C. Soludo and the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi attended the event and if offered them the opportunity to exchange pleasantries.

Bishop Isizoh hails from Ogbunike in Oyi local government area of Anambra state. Oyi is a town in the same old Anambra Division as Aguleri.

The Aguleri World Forum (AWF), an umbrella body of Aguleri people within and outside Nigeria, described the event as historic and assured full cooperation of the people.
