One of the brightest stars in the legal profession in Nigeria who is also among the youngest silks, Mr. Alexander Ejesieme, SAN has been nominated Anambra Legal Person of the Year 2021. Also nominated in the same category is the first Catholic priest in Nigeria to attain SANship, Rev. Fr. Dr. Edwin S.C Obiorah, SAN.
The Inspire Anambra@30 group, a body of media institutions who are the organizers of the award event while announcing their nomination stated that the duo made great mark in their profession this year and deserve every celebration.
In their separate letters, the group noted that Mr. Alex Ejesieme, SAN was chosen after a careful selection by the nomination committee based on his outstanding exploits in the legal profession, having delivered on landmark cases that will have great impact on our political journey as a nation.

Dr. Edwin S.C Obiorah, SAN the group stated that the priest has exemplified excellence, integrity and highest level of professionalism and equally has a place in history as the first Catholic priest to be admitted into the exalted rank of senior advocate both in Nigeria and the entire commonwealth of Nations
