An illustrious son of Okija town in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state and group managing director of Nestoil PLC, Dr. Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi has built a state of the art civic center which he will soon handover to Okija Town Union in Lagos state, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.
The one storey building which is located at Amuwo Odofin has the capacity to accommodate over 2000 persons with conveniences, administrative offices, and a store house.
The over 200 million Naira edifice boasts of a brand new F.G Wilson generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply during meetings and events.
This is one of the numerous projects the Okija born billionaire and philanthropist has executed singlehandedly in recent time. Recall that in 2015, Dr. Ernest Obiejesi donated a three storey hostel block to his Alma Mater, Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha.
He has equally built Loyola Jesuit College in Okija, Obijackson Children Hospital which according to him is to help reduce infant mortality.
Born in Okija, Anambra (Nigeria), Dr. Ernest Obiejesi first joined his father’s family business in 1978 before setting up his first company, Obijackson West Africa Limited in 1983 that traded goods across West Africa. Azudialu Obiejesi’s flagship company, Nestoil, established in 1991, is a Nigerian Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPCC) company servicing the oil and gas industry.
