WHIZKID: Meet Stephanie Onusiriuka, Nigeria’s Number one Kid Gymnast From Anambra.

Stephanie Ogechukwu Onusiriuka is an 11 year old gymnast. She hails from Ihembosi in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.


At the tender age of 2 years, Stephanie was already showing great signs of athleticism, it was obvious to her parents that little Stephanie was a special child and would be upto something great in future. Little Stephanie was inspired by watching American Olympian Gold medalists Simon Biles and Sunisa Lee.
She was determined that someday the world would celebrate her.

Stephanie won her first International Gold medal at the age of 8 in South Africa.
she won 1Gold, 2 Silver and 1Bronze at the just concluded National Sports Festival in Edo Nigeria.

14-Year-Old Gymnast, Stephanie Ogechukwu Shines at National Youth Games 2025

She won the Best all round gymnast in her club and also a Bronze medal at the Youths Games Ilorin.
Stephanie is currently the number 1 kid Gymnast in Nigeria. She received an award at the Banquet Hall Aso Villa at Nigeria @60 for outstanding Gymnastics Child Athlete. She also received an Award at Peace Achievers International Awards for Sports Personality of the Year.

Stephanie took part in the Simone Biles handstand challenge where she finished in 18 seconds, ahead of the host who finished in 44 seconds.
Stephanie is aiming to compete at the Olympics and win an Olympic Medal.
