Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has congratulated the twenty-six illustrious sons and daughters of Anambra State who were conferred with different categories of National Honours by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Soludo in a statement posted on his verified Facebook page said, “I congratulate, in a very special way, these eminent Sons and Daughters of Anambra State who have been conferred with various categories of National Honours by the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.,”
Among the 26 Soludo Congratulated were Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma of Innoson Motors, Chief Chidi Anyaegbu CEO of Chisco Motors, Prof. Benedict Okechukwu Oramah President/CEO of Afriexim Bank and Dr Allen Onyema Chairman, Air Peace CON, all of who were conferred with the Commander, Order of the Niger (CON).
Others are Igwe Prof Laz Edward Nnanyelu Ekwueme, NNOM Traditional Ruler of Oko, and Engr (Dr) Chukwuemeka Okwuosa Business executive who also bagged CON. Businessman, Dr Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi Businessman, Prof. Obiora Okonkwo CEO, of United Nigeria Airlines, and Chief Nnaemeka Ngige, SAN Chairman, Council of Legal Education, Chief Dr Alexander Chika Okafor CEO, Chikason Group bagged Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR).
Others still were: Charles Odunukwe Industrialist OON, Chief Sir James Uzochukwu Uduji Industrialist OON, HRH Igwe Prof Onuora Nwuneli, Academia OON, Sir Daniel Nwanneka Chukwudozie CEO, Dozzy Group OON, Dr Adaora Umeoji Dep MD Zenith Bank OON, Ichie Nnaeto Orazulike Executive Committee Member NACCIMA OON, Mrs Comfort Nwobu Rtd Teacher MFR, DIG Joseph O. Egbunike (Posthumous) MFR and Chief Dr Ngozi Okafor Business Executive MFR.
High Chief Emeka Chukwuma Agbanari a Businessman, and Prof Ferdinand A. Ofodile both bagged MFR, while Victor Nkemjika Nwokeji Business Executive, Ejezie E. Rollas President AGN, HRH Igwe Dr Oranu Chris Chidume Traditional Ruler, Princess Onyinye Omachukwu Uwaechia Philanthropist, Prof Bonn Obikwe Godwin and Nwanolue Academia all of who bagged MON were also part of those who graced the occasion.
