The factional Chairman, of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Edozie Njoku, was arrested by the Nigerian police at the premises of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Bwari, Abuja, after the prosecution lawyer, CSP Ezekiel Rinamsomte, complained that Edozie Njoku threatened his life, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.
According to CSP Ezekiel Rinamsomte, Edozie Njoku approached him in court and told him that he was the reason why the daughter of Onyechi Ikpeazu died. CSP Ezekiel Rinamsomte told the court that Edozie Njoku said that he was going to send calamity upon calamities upon his family, and that members of his family will start dying.
CSP Ezekiel Rinamsomte disclosed that Edozie Njoku threatened that he was going to shake the Nigerian Police Force for getting involved in his case. He confirmed that he informed the court about the issue.
On his part, Edozie Njoku told the court that he exchanged pleasantries with CSP Ezekiel Rinamsomte before the case started, but he never threatened him or said anything about Onyechi Ikpeazu’s daughter’s death.
