CLO Urges PEPT to allow spirit of God guide and guard their decisions.

AWKA- Civil Liberties Organization CLO Anambra State Branch has made passionate and patriotic appeal to Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal to allow spirit of God, justice, equity and patriotism in adjudication of presidential election petitions before them.

This is contained in a press statement issued to newsmen tagged “justice could be served only when unaffected are as outraged as those affected”endorsed by Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme Chairman and Comrade Chidi Mbah Secretary respectively calls on members of presidential election petition tribunal to do justice to the petitions before them and ensure in words and actions that judiciary is truly the last hope of the common man and citadel of justice.

It is noteworthy that Nigerians and global community are looking forward towards judicial, judicious and transparent constitutional resolution of February 25th presidential election.

According to Chief MKO Abiola”no justice no peace, any peace without justice is the peace of the graveyard”
Nigerians more than ever before have confidence, faith and hope in the judiciary and believe that the judiciary will certainly do justice to all the petitions before them.

We pray to God to give them spirit of uprightness, fear and love of God and the nation, patriotism and selflessness without fear or favour in dispensing all petitions before them, based on the merit of the case and overwhelming evidence before them not technicality.

In the immutable assertion of Mahatma Gandhi that “all through history the way of justice and truth has always triumph.

It is pertinent to note that “no one is free until all of us are free”. Significantly let us continue to pray for the socioeconomic plenitude and social justice of our great country.

May the way of justice and truth triumph in this presidential election petition tribunal to the glory of God, peace, progress and prosperity of our great nation CLO reiterated.

Nigeria and Nigerians should bear it in mind the postulation of Rev.Martin Luther king Jr thus “injustices done to one is injustices done to all”in addition to “whatever that affects one directly, affects all indirectly.
It is irrefutable truth and existential reality that truly all eyes are on the judiciary hence the inevitable need for them to keep justice,do justice and righteousness to the exaltation of our great country.
Let us collectively and collaboratively join hands together to ensure justice, equity, equality and egalitarian society reigns supreme in our dear country.
