A son of the soil,from the depths of Anambra state, Nelson’s affinity for carpentry blossomed during his time at the university, even though he had never envisioned it as his main pursuit having always yearned for a “gentler path,” in his own words. Yet, fate had other plans. It was amidst one of those dreaded ASUU strikes that Nelson stumbled upon the craft in his hometown ,Awka, Anambra State.
He spent couple of years refining his skills and acquiring practical expertise in various woodworking techniques through guidance from mentors and online resources. By the age of 21, he made the bold decision to establish his own carpentry brand, Carpenterway. Initially starting as a humble carpenter, today, Nelson has expanded his business to incorporate interior decoration, forging a path of creativity and ingenuity.
