Meet Yoruba Man In Anambra State Civil Service
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Contrary to widespread misconception in Nigeria that the Igbos, particularly those from Anambra state, do not allow individuals of other ethnic groups to hold public office or even contest for political positions, Adebayo Ojeyinka, a Yoruba man has been serving as a director in the office of the Head of Service in Anambra state for years now.

During the tenure of former Governor Peter Obi, individuals working in various offices within the state received regular newsletters issued by the office of the head of service, all of which were signed by Mr. Ojeyinka. He is a well-known and respected name within and beyond the state for his contributions to public service.

It is crucial that we exercise caution and confirm information before sharing it on social media, to prevent spreading misinformation or reinforcing stereotypes about different ethnic groups.

Adebayo Ojeyinka graduated from the International Relations Department of Obafemi Awolowo Uni (OAU) in Ife in 1994. He did his Youth Service in Anambra State 1995 & was absorbed there in the public service. Today, he has risen to the position of a director in the office of Head of Service of the State.
