In keeping with the high standards for which Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka is known, the students of UNIZIK HIGH SCHOOL have yet achieved another feat.
This time they have emerged victorious and taken the first position among schools in Anambra State in the Martin Luther King Jnr Day 2024 competition.
This event which was organized by the US Missions in Nigeria through the American Spaces in Nigeria took place on January 18, 2024.
According to a statement by the Media Adviser to the Vice Chancellor ,Dr Emmanuel C. Ojukwu, the event was for secondary schools in Anambra State.
Presenting the Award winning students to the Vice Chancellor, the principal of the premium High school, Mrs Isreal Olanike Atinuke praised the students who have always been known for their hardwork and excellent performance.
She assured that the high standards for which the school is known will continue to be maintained.
She thanked the Vice Chancellor Prof Charles Esimone for the huge support to the school.
The obviously elated Vice Chancellor of the fast growing University Professor Charles Okechukwu Esimone, FAS congratulated the UNIZIK High School students who participated in this year’s Martin Luther King Jnr day 2024.
He challenged the students to do more, stressing that the future belongs to those who work hard to achieve their dreams. Prof Esimone reassured the school of more support within the limit of the University’s resources.
