It has been massive joy in Anambra State as illustrious son, business mogul, and philanthropist, High Chief (Dr.) Christopher Ndubuisi (Ikenga Umuawulu), was over the weekend recognized as Investor of the Year 2023 at The Sun Awards, which took place on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos.

In the award citation, High Chief (Dr.) Christopher Ndubuisi (Ikenga Umuawulu) was honored for his numerous contributions to the development of the country through his vast investments in sectors of the Nigerian economy, including the hospitality industry, real estate, and construction.

The award was also for his investment in human capital development across the country and job creation.

Speaking at the event, Chief Ndubuisi commended the organizers for an exceptional outing, adding that the award would spur him on the more in his endeavors. Chief Ndubuisi dedicated the award to God, his lovely wife, and his untiring team and stated they have become pillars of support to his ventures.

Present at the award event include Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, Publisher, Sun newspaper, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Innoson vehicles boss, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, Chairman, United Nigeria Air, Prof Obiora Okonkwo, Chairman Brittania U oil, Uju Ifejika among other high profile dignitaries.

Ikenga Umuawulu was accompanied to the event by his lovely wife, brother, friends, and well-wishers.

High Chief Dr. Christopher Ndubuisi (Ikenga Umuawulu) is a Nigerian business mogul and philanthropist who hails from Umuawulu in Awka South LGA of Anambra State. He’s the Chairman/CEO of Pinnatech Group, a company that provides services in vast sectors including ICT, Real estate, hospitality, Construction, and Civil engineering.

His company, Pinnatech Engineering, has successfully completed several roads and building projects, solar street lights installations, and boreholes across the country for the Federal government over the years.

Apart from his heavy investment in major sectors of the economy, Chief Ndubuisi is a major investor in human capital development. He has sponsored a lot of programs to empower entrepreneurs in areas like ICT, fishing, poultry, etc. He has equally sent people abroad to acquire education.

The climax of his investment in human resources is the newly tuition-free John Angel’s Secondary school he built in his community, Umuawulu.

He’s among the few that have embarked on this kind of project in the country, and to him, what drives him is the knowledge that good education liberates the mind and makes people productive.

Friends and well-wishers have felicitated with Chief Christopher Ndubuisi for the well-deserved recognition.
