When Prof Soludo was campaigning in 2021, many thought that he was going to be the Star Boy of good governance in southeast.
We were thinking that he was going to introduce new policy trusts that would bring about new innovations and elevate governance to enviable height.
We were thinking that his African-Dubai-Taiwan idea would make mockery of the infrastructure in Abuja.
But lol and behold, his African-Dubai-Taiwan idea is all about rebaptising ‘ndi agbero’ into Soludo boys and using them to tax, re-tax and over tax the people.
But when you take a look at Abia state, you will see the difference. Those who looked up to soludo and got disappointed are now cheering Gov Otti.
Otti didn’t promise African-Dubai-Taiwan to ndi Abia, but he is giving them quality leadership, proving the needed infrastructure for businesses to thrive.
Otti doesn’t speak long and useless grammar. He is focused and will succeed.
In 2025, Anambra will have opportunity to make their decision.
