A concerned citizen of Nnewi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, has raised alarm over the current shabby status and structural realities of the Veterinary Medicine Clinic, Nnewi.
The man, who is yet to reveal his identity, also shot a video of the government-owned clinic, and which has gone viral on the social media.
Going round the clinic and showing its shattered roof and general dilapidated structure, the native, in the video, mockingly described it as part of the benefits of the Solution Government (referring to Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s Administration) in the state.
He also attributed the poor management and abandonment of the facility to the illegalities in the administration and management of local governments funds in the state, referring to appointment of local government administrators by the state government and misappropriation of local governments’ funds.
“This is the Local Government Veterinary Medicine Clinic in Nnewi; part of the benefits of the Solution Government. You look at it.
“This is what you find in Anambra. The local government funds will be misappropriated. The administrators will be made to sign a little part of their money. And then all their projects will remain abandoned.
“This is what you find in Nnewi North Local Government, where Solution Government has appointed administrator for us,” he lamented.
