Family of Mrs Ifeoma Amarachukwu Ochiagha who lost her life last week Monday during attack by gunmen in Nnobi, local government area of Anambra state has announced her burial date.
The 22-year old woman, who was among three persons that lost their lives during the attack was reportedly hit by a stray bullet when vigilante operatives engaged gunmen suspected to be enforcing the outlawed Monday sit-at-home at Nnobi junction.
Anambra People gathered that the Vigilante Commander, Mr Eloka Ubajekwe had led his men to engage the hoodlums following intelligence report that they were storming Nnewi through Nnobi community.
The commander was unfortunately felled in the crossfire, while Ochiagha was hit by stray bullet where she was in their farm near their compound.
The deceased who was said to have had her marriage ceremony, was reportedly planning for the church wedding when she met her sudden death.
According to burial poster shared by her family and signed by her father, Mr Timothy Ochiagha, the deceased will be buried on Thursday.
A post by one of her relatives read: “One of the victims of the Nnobi/Nnewi Monday sit-at-home mayhem will be buried on Thursday.
“Amarachukwu, who got married on Saturday, met her sudden death(unknown gunmen) the next Monday.
“May your gentle soul rest in peace, Nwadiana,” the relative wrote.
