Civil Liberties Organization Anambra State Branch has reiterated it’s earlier call on Gov.Charles Soludo to save the life of Mrs Nkemakolam Nnamani brutalized, maltreated, assualted and humiliated by State Anti-Touting for advicing them to stop assualting, beating and molesting an aged woman at Upper Iweka near TRACAS.

The pathetic health condition of the woman is detoriating that if urgent and immediate step is not taking her leg may be amputated .

This is contained in a press statement issued to newsmen endorsed by Comrades Vincent Ezekwueme and Chidi Mbah tagged “matter of urgent and immediate public interest and importance” decried with great disdain indifference attitude of the government towards the plight, predicament and the sufferings of the woman and her family because of her patriotism to call the agent of government to be civil, decorum and law abiding in discharge of their duties. It will be recall that CLO had earlier draw the attention of pathetic and pitiable condition of the woman without response from the government or her officials.

The Government and public spirited individuals should come to her aid in other to save her life and family.

Similarly, the State government and Anambra State House of Assembly should kindly clarify to citizens, residents and visitors if there is legislation enacted by State House of Assembly that banned people from urinating inside gutter with penalty ranging between #30,000 to #50,000 depending on financial capability of the defaulters, without provision of mobile toilets or public conveniences in some designated places.

Worthy of note is since assumption of their duties how much have they generated to the government coffers or do the money gets into private pockets.
The hapless woman has been crying and lamenting that “don’t we have government or is it because i’m poor and no one to intervene on my behalf”.

I appeal to Gov.Charles Soludo,Gov.Peter Mbah of Enugu,Civil Society Organizations and public spirited individuals to assist me in this trying and pathetic period as my children are out of school and i’m yet to pay for my house rent and feeding is very difficult for us .

It is of significant importance for government to listen to the cries and predicaments of brutalized and now handicap woman.

According to Bill Clinton former USA President”think about millions of people who dies because democracy reacted too late to evil, oppression, injustices and man’s inhumanity against man CLO posited.

Mrs Nkemakolam Nnamani lives at 87 Oraifite Street Awada Obosi and can be reach with this GSM 08165600885.
