On Monday, the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, announced the appointment of Anambra-born Sir. Paul Chukwuma, as Chairman of the Governing Council and Pro-Chancellor of Benue State University. Chukwuma, a big player in the education sector within Nigeria and beyond, is expected to come on board with his diverse experience in the educational sector.
In a letter signed by the Governor’s Press Secretary, Sir. Tersoo Kula, the governor conveyed his congratulations and expressed confidence in the ability of appointees to elevate the institutions through their wealth of experience. He also noted that the appointments are with immediate effect, as he conveyed Governor Alia’s admonition to the appointee to put in their best.
Paul Chukwuma is a top politician in Anambra State and the founder of Olivia University, Bujumbura, Burundi.
