A member of PDP board of Trustees,Chief Ugochukwu Okeke (Enyioha) has joined numerous sympathisers to mourn the demise of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah who died recently in UK.
Enyioha described Senator Ifeanyi Ubah as a man who was very passionate about community development.
In a statement he released on Sunday, Chief Ugochukwu Okeke described Senator Ubah’s death as shocking and difficult to believe .
The statement reads:
“The news of the sudden demise of the Very Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, was a huge shock that left millions numbed by both disbelief and then the painful realization that this news which we all prayed isn’t true is real after all.
“His untimely death has left a gaping hole in the lives of both friends, political allies, colleagues and a host of countless individuals he touched through his remarkable philanthropy and achievements.
“Ebubechukwuzo!!!! your passion for community development and service truly defined you. Your generosity and commitment to uplifting others inspired many and those who rose by climbing your broad back are numerous.
“This loss is deeply felt, not just in the Southeast region but across our beloved country. I extend my deepest condolences to his wife, immediate and extended family, the people of Anambra South Senatorial District, the Government of Anambra State, and the National Assembly.
‘In Senator Ifeanyi Ubah we lost a dogged fighter, a dedicated philanthropist, a goal getter per excellence and a man who believed in and fought relentlessly to attain his vision, and for this he will be sorely missed in the political space of our nation. May God show him mercy and grant him eternal rest”.
