Our community, Nnewi is reeling in shock and grief as news spreads of the untimely passing of Senator Patrick Ubah, a visionary leader, philanthropic giant, and true son of the soil. His sudden demise has left an indelible scar on the hearts of all who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt for generations to come.

Hon Obidike Chukwuebuka, Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and fellow indigene of Nnewi, expressed his deepest condolences, saying: “I’m writing with a heavy heart, shattered by the loss of this extraordinary individual. Senator Ubah was more than just a politician; he was a philanthropist, seasoned businessman, and champion of our people’s development. His selfless contributions have improved countless lives, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.”

Obidike mourned the loss of a true hero, mentor, brother, and friend, whose love for Nnewi and its people was evident in everything he did. “His passing leaves a gaping hole in our hearts, and his absence will be deeply felt. I’ll never again see his warm smile, hear his wise counsel, or benefit from his generosity. May his cherished memories be a source of comfort during this darkest of times. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his family find strength to navigate this unbearable loss.”

The APC chieftain, Obidike concluded: “Rest in peace, Senator Patrick Ubah. Your memory will never fade, and your legacy will continue to inspire us to strive for greatness. You will be deeply missed, but your impact on our lives will never be forgotten.”
