The executive Governor of Anambra state, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has reacted after he gave out his daughter, Adaora Soludo in marriage to her husband, Arinze Ibekwe on Saturday.
Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo stated on his verified Facebook page on Sunday; “I celebrate this historic event for two reasons. First, God has graciously blessed the larger Soludo family with another such marital union after 142 years (by my estimate). This is largely due to the fact that female children have been a rarity in the past three generations of the Soludo family.”
He added; “Lastly, I am happy to have gained another son in Arinze Ibekwe. I will continue to pray for God’s choicest blessings upon them and admonish them to take a cue from the 31 years of marital bliss I continue to enjoy with my lovely wife.”
