Barring last minute change ,about half of Commissioners in Anambra State would be relieved of their appointments by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, an impeccable source has said.

According to the source, some will be redeployed to other portfolios in the cabinet reshuffling.

Meanwhile, Mr Chido Obidiegwu and Paul Nwosu have been fired as Managing Director, ABS and Commissioner for Information respectively.

The source confirmed authoritatively that the commissioner of environment,Engr Omus is among the commissioners that will be fired while Alex Obiogbolu, Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters will be elevated to a commissioner.

“Commissioners like Tonycollins Nwabunwanne and Ify Obinabo of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Women Affairs, respectively will be retained,” the source added.

Meanwhile, Law Mefor has been penciled to replace sacked Paul Nwosu as Commissioner of information.
