The Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) has recognized and celebrated seventeen companies in Nnewi and environs with thirty nine brands of products.

SON said those companies had demonstrated excellence by achieving the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP) certification or recertification.

“The event is a celebration of excellence, innovation, and unyielding commitment of our local manufacturers to meet and exceed the quality standards that drive Nigeria’s industrial economic growth and consumer confidence.

“Standards are the backbone of sustainable industrialization and economic development. They provide the framework for consistent quality, safety, and reliability, enabling businesses to gain consumer trust and compete effectively in both local and global markets.

“At the SON, our mission is to promote these standards as a critical tool for transforming our industries and enhancing the well-being of Nigerians. MANCAP is a testament to this mission, “the DG had said.
