A 16-year-old boy, the only male child of his family, in Umuowelle Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, tragically lost his life to a snake bite while attempting to catch a black cobra.

The young snake catcher’s daring pursuit, which had been his means of supporting his family, ultimately proved to be his undoing.
