Anambra State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Anambra State Command, Comdt. Maku Olatunde has reiterated the commitment of the Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi to the well – being of officers and men.
He stated this while distributing uniforms, kits and accoutrements to quarter guard personnel, guarter guard Instructors and Band Squad of the command during his weekly tactical digest at the State Command Headquarters Awka.
According to him, the issuance of new uniforms to deserving personnel is a continuation of the Commandant General’s ongoing efforts to drive reforms and recognize hard work within the Corps.
“On behalf of the Commandant General, I present you this uniform as a mark of our appreciation for your punctuality, pragmatism, regimentation, expertise, dedication and professionalism in symmetry and simulation of quarter guard, band and muster parade”
“This gesture is part of the command’s efforts to boost morale and enhance personnel appearance while on duty” he said.
The NSCDC boss urged the personnel to develop a habit of impeccable dress sense and cleanliness, upholding the sanctity, aura, and professionalism of the noble profession.
He emphasized that this is crucial as the Corps continues to work tirelessly to enhance the condition of service for all personnel, ensuring their welfare and well-being remain a top priority.
Commandant Maku expressed optimism that more welfare – focused projects aimed at improving the working conditions and overall welfare of the command’s officers and men in line with the vision and policy support of the Commandant General will be implemented for effective service delivery.
Assistant Commandant of Corps, (ACC) Ejike Ike, Head of Training Department, on behalf of the beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to the State Commandant for the generous gesture, promising to redouble their efforts and strive for excellence in discharging their duties efficiently.
