Father of three siblings killed and dumped inside freezer in Nnewichi community in Nnewi, Anambra State, Mr Udochukwu Edozie has said that those behind the murder have tampered with God’s creations and would face the consequences.
He described the three kids as special gifts from God to the family who would have been great in future.
Narrating his ordeal to Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Ify Obinabo, Edozie urged government and law enforcement agencies to do the needful.
He said, “According to my wife one the student doctors had just passed examination and wanted to celebrate with us and the children but we were not at home .
“When my wife searched for our children one girl at the shop outside said she saw them with two boys going into the compound and later one of my daughters went out to buy something.
“Possibly it was while she went out that they killed my other children and later killed the third one may be to cover up any trace of them .
“The doors were opened and the one that paid me more is that the Children did not have their food.”
On why the wife had left the kids alone at the house that fateful day, Edozie said, “my wife is a nurse tutor because she went conduct examination in Ihiala so he was not at home as at the time this incident occupied.
“I was in far away in Edo state where I am working and we had planned that I would relocate to Nnewi since she has gotten a job in Nnewi,” he added.
Asked whether he suspected conspiracy from persons he might have had problems with, the visibly devastated father said he could not perceive any active quarreling before the incident.
His words, “To me in human social relationship there is bound to be frictions. I cannot say that there is any active qurelling and whatever that happened, it happened in the past and was resolved.
“At least a year plus now and I can’t say that we are quarreling with A or B and even if we are quarreling with anybody is it to visit it on the children?
“I want to bring to notice the personality of the children that they killed. They actually touched Gods own pupils. My first daughter is a first class brain in Edo state at her school called Mother of Nation’s Group of Schools and they know her.
“If you take first position from her you are looking for her trouble. Even at Nnewi anytime they come back from school my house is a lesson center and they come to see Chikanyima .
“Any mathematics problem that people cannot solve my daughter will solve it at ten years oldm What they called her in her school is” kiri-kiri star” and smart brain. Chikayima is a gifted child at three years old corrected me her father when we are still leaving at Edo state. I went to brush my teeth at sink of the kitchen and she told me go to the bathroom kitchen and he talked sense into me .
“My second daughter, Edozie Chizuberem Dominica and I call her double faculty she is intelligent doubled with wisdom. My first daughter I don’t know where she got that wisdom and as her father I cannot carry her on my laps .
“Once I carry her she will greet me Daddy good afternoon and she would jump down and I notice that she had that consciousness that she is a woman. The last time I came to see them my wife gave me food with plastic spoon and my daughter correct me and I had to use the iron spoon.
“The last one is a potential evangelist because I was once a vocalist at three for years my son Ejezie Chimdirim is a singer and if you hear him praising God you would know that the killers of my children have tampered with God. I ask the state government for justice I ask Mr President for justice.”
