You’re storing future wealth by investing in education – Anambra Entrepreneur

Anambra State Entrepreneur, Dr Frank Igbojindu has described investment in education as indirect way of storing wealth for the future and not a scam as perceived by many youths.

Igbojindu, Chief Executive Officer, Akpoazaa Foundation made the assertion at a news conference on Friday in Awka, to unveil the foundation’s scholarship scheme and skill acquisition programmes for the year 2025.

He said that good education could indirectly solved half of personal and societal challenges as well as forster national development.

“At Akpoazaa foundation we believe so much in education as it is the ticket to securing a better future in Nigeria.This is why we are trying to correct the narrative thst ‘Education is a scam’.

“We are investing in education and vocational training for indigents persons in Anambra and the entire south east. So that our youth can be educated, self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to the society.

“This year, we are introducing Akpoazaa Media factory to empower 1000 youths in essential skills that will addressing the critical gaps in the media industry.

“We will be paying the school fees, JAMB fees and WAEC fees of 1000 indigent students to mark my 40th Birthday, as well the sponsorship of the Dozzy quiz competition for Legacy University Okija, Anambra,” he said.

Igbojindu said the foundation would hold Anambra state Teachers competition and the Mathematics and Igbo quiz competition for senior secondary schools.

He said there would be selection of 250 JS1 students across the southeast states who would benefit from the foundation’s scholarship scheme.

“There will also be Southeast university quiz competition, best brain competition to recognise the best graduating students at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

“Through Akpoazaa foundation, a three-bedroom bungalow is already under construction for a widow in Okija who is in dire need and it will be handed over in April.

“We appreciate De Imperial philanthropic family, Dr Ernest Obiejesi and Dr Daniel Chukwudozie for their support towards education and humanity.

“The Akpoazaa foundation is committed to fostering change and creating a better future for our youths. And we appeal for support from well-meaning individuals and groups to achieve this course,” he said.
