The Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command *CP Ikioye Orutugu has encouraged Ndi Anambra and residents alike to go about their lawful businesses without fear.
He gave the advice while going around the city to educate Ndi Anambra about the negative impacts of the illegal order of sit-at-home.
According to him, the State mainly survives on buying and selling, stressing the need for a return to normalcy in the state.
He said, “The Command has further assured that the Police and other security agencies have taken over the streets, especially on Mondays, to sustain safety in the State.
“Ndi Anambra are therefore urged to go about their various businesses without fear of molestation.
“Anybody that says you should sit at home on Monday, your reply to the person should be: “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo”
