Held in the state capital, Awka, the strategic session, according to the Police Spokesman, delved into critical issues such as threat analysis, joint deployment coordination, surveillance operations, and contingency planning. He said the gathering also focused on tightening security around strategic locations, including entry and exit points, major roads, and high-value installations across the state.

According to him, security agencies represented at the meeting included the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services (DSS), Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), as well as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Security, Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi (Rtd), among others.

“This comprehensive security approach reflects the commitment of Anambra State’s security architecture to guaranteeing the safety of the visiting President, dignitaries, and citizens, while sustaining peace and stability across the state,” he stated.
