Media Personality and co-host of the morning show, Rueben Abati has recommended the CEO of Air peace, for a national honour in 2025.

No fewer than 78 Nigerians rescued from human traffickers in Cote D’Ivoire have arrived in Lagos, facilitated by Airpeace.

The victims, comprising 73 females, two males, and three babies, arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, around 11:00 pm on Saturday.

According to Dr Reuben Abati , the best way to recognize Allen Onyema’s patriotic effort is to recognize him with a national honour which he truly deserves while compiling the list of 2025 national honour nominees.

Speaking further, Abati advised that instead of the traditional rulers that often receive national honour without making any input to national development, people like Allen Onyema should be prioritized in the whole process.

This is not the first time Barr Allen Onyema has evacuated stranded Nigerians from their place of sojourn in foreign countries.

Air Peace was there to evacuate Nigerian citizens from South Africa following an outbreak of xenophobic violence against foreign nationals there in September 2019. It was there during the challenging period of COVID-19, evacuating stranded Nigerians from different parts of the world during the lockdown. Air Peace was there to bring in Nigerians who were stranded in Sudan as civil war broke out in that country. It was there to evacuate Nigerians stranded in Europe following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
