Today, June 11, 2025 begins official campaigning for the November 08, 2025 governorship election in Anambra State. Starting today, Ndi Anambra State have approximately 4 months and 3 weeks to decide “Which Way Forward?”
This important decision must not be made lightly, nor on sentimental and emotional rationalizations. Rather, this decision must be made with serious questions and conconsiderations on the minds of every Anambrarian.
Gender, worship denominations, political party affiliations, and other emotions need not be premium in our considerations.
Questions about the Security of Lives and Property must be asked given the insecurity in Anambra State in the recent past.
The Economy, Business and Commerce of Anambra State must be interrogated; as well as her Healthcare, Education, Infrastructures, Life Safety and Social Welfare Networks in Anambra State must all come under scrutiny in arriving at the important decision point on November 08, 2025.
The ease of life and living in Anambra State; Youth Employment and Engagement; Agricultural Value Chain; Information and Connectivity Technology mapping must be measured to arrive at a reasonable decision for Anambra State.
From the above, it is easy to surmise that the real question for Ndi Anambra State on November 08, 2025 is:
Who, and What, are best for Anambra State?
Next, we must look at the individual contestants; their backgrounds and histories; their successes and failures; their resilience; their connections to the streets, communities and peoples of Anambra State.
Ndi Anambra State must compare and contrast the state of Anambra State of yesterday and of today, and project her to tomorrow, then make a decision on who governs the state for the next four years.
We must decide.
May God help us.
May reason guide us.
And, may God continue to bless Anambra State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
